Protecting and preserving the environment through responsible processing.

We’re Committed to a Greener Tomorrow.

No matter whether it’s our mobile document shredding service or our hard drive destruction program, we’re committed to the protection and preservation of our natural resources through responsible daily operations and a local recycling program.

The Importance of Recycling

In 2019, the United States achieved a paper recycling rate of 68.1%. We’re proud to take part in this figure by recycling 100% of the paper products shredded at our facility.

Every ton of recycled paper saves 17 trees, 380 gallons of oil, 7,000 gallons of water, and 60 pounds of air pollution. E-waste is only 2% of landfill trash, but it accounts for 70% of toxic waste. Our hard drive destruction program doesn’t just destroy your old e-media; it also recycles the remaining pieces, keeping it out of landfills and making certain that any toxic materials are correctly and carefully discarded.

How We Help

At Secure Shredding & Recycling, we’ve taken special precautions to make sure that our services work in accordance with our dedication to preserving the environment.

After your items are shredded or destroyed, we transport all particles to a trusted local recycling facility. Paper shreds are thoroughly washed and cleansed of any remaining marks before they are turned into pulp and used for the creation of recycled paper products.

We don’t just recycle because it’s good for the environment (although it undoubtedly is); we recycle because it’s the safest place for your shredded documents to end up. After all, when your document has been shredded, cleansed, pulped, and remade into many other sheets of paper, it’s pretty near impossible to put back together again. When your documents go into public waste, you have no guarantee who has access to them – or what they do with the information if they find it.

At Secure Shredding and Recycling, we’re responsible for the safety of your documents once you leave them in our care, and we take that responsibility seriously. At every stage of the shredding process, up to and including the trip to a local recycling facility, we know where your documents are. You can relax, knowing your documents are in safe hands, and you can be proud of your decision to outsource your shredding to an environmentally conscious company.
